Sunday 24th November 10.30am:
Toy Service – Donations of new toys (unwrapped) and gift cards (for older children) will be gratefully received at our services on 24th November.

Thursday 28th November 3.30pm:
Get set for Christmas at Somersby Road shops. Come along to the switching on of the Christmas Tree lights and support our local shops. School choir, community carols and children’s craft activities.

Thursday 28th November 4.45pm: 
Mapperley Precinct Christmas  lights switch-on & carols

Saturday 30th November 10am-12noon:
The Christmas Experience – An Interactive Christmas experience at church. Come and take a journey with us to Bethlehem to Experience Christmas as it was the first time. With interactive stations each exploring different parts of the story, the Nativity will come to life before your very eyes. A fun and family friendly way to get into the Christmas spirit. Refreshments and a warm welcome for everyone.

The Christmas Experience 2019

Sunday 1st  December 6pm:
Advent Service of Light – ‘Hope in the Darkness’, a quiet, meditative start to Advent

Saturday 7th December 11.00am – 1.00pm:
Café and Carols at Gedling Country Park 

Saturday 14th December 10am – 3pm 
Sanctuary – You are invited to drop in for 5 minutes’ peace or a couple of hours’ quiet (whatever would be helpful for you). There will be words and images for reflection, candles to light and refreshments available throughout the day.  There will be a few people available to talk/pray with you if you would like, but they will be unobtrusive and space will be given for people to be quiet and reflective. 

Sunday 15th December 6pm: 
Candlelit Carol service followed by mince pies & hot drinks

Sunday 22nd December 10.30am:
Nativity Service – you may wish to come dressed as a nativity character

Christmas Eve 3.30 & 5.00pm:
Our popular Community Christingle events in aid of The Children’s Society

Christmas Day service at 10am
Let’s celebrate Jesus’ birthday together.
Children & teenagers bring small wrapped gifts to open during the service
