We all have questions. Questions about ‘life, the universe and everything’. Some people have questions about faith – is there a God? A meaning to life? The Alpha course looks at questions people have about Christianity: Who was Jesus of Nazareth? Why do Christians worship him? Do Christians live differently? All good questions.
Alpha is all about exploring good questions in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s also a great way to meet new people, drink coffee and eat cake! If you would like to know more about Alpha 2018 please contact the church office.

Refresh in Lent 2018 with Bishop Paul
Thursdays 1st March & 8th March, 7.30 – 9.30pm at St Mark’s. “I am increasingly aware that sustaining momentum in ‘Growing Disciples wider, younger and deeper’ is dependent on the spiritual vitality of those who serve and lead across our churches,” writes Bishop Paul. “…That is why I am going to be hosting a series called Refresh in Lent, open to all but especially for anyone who exercises some aspect of leadership in their church, workplace, or wider community.”

“Julian” Prayer Meeting
7.30pm Tuesday 6th March in the Chapel
These are silent prayer meeting lasting 30 minutes so there’s no praying out loud and no sharing etc.
These meetings are between you and God so the meeting is to facilitate this in a prayerful atmosphere.
Silence is essential so please try to be there for a prompt start, refreshments will be available afterwards.
Knit ‘n’ Natter
Mondays 1.30 – 3.30pm in the Garden Room in the church hall, weekly during term time.
Bring your own knitting, crochet, colouring or any craft activity to do while having a natter.
Good coffee, tea and cakes on offer too! Come and go as you please. All ages welcome.
