Children’s and Youth Ministry (CYM)
St Mark’s Church is a family, and we welcome all people of all ages and stages. We love to see children and young people involved in all that we do and we want to see them equipped and empowered to live for Jesus. We meet as a church family at 10:30am every Sunday, where we have groups for children and young people from 0-14 years old. Every 4th Sunday, we worship together as a whole church family. On a Sunday evening, we run our Edge youth group for 14-18 year olds.
Game Changers: Y5 – Y9
We meet during the 10:30am service, in term-time. Our sessions involve lots of fun as we spend time getting to know each other as well as space to ask any questions about faith, discover who Jesus is, how to be a light in the world for him, worship and prayer. We also have youth socials at various points in the year.
Edge: Y10+
We meet every Sunday evening during term-time. We have two groups that meet from 6:30pm-8:30pm:
Twice a month we have a Bible study, looking in depth at a part of the Bible, in 2023/24 we have been looking at Acts and Mark. On the other Sundays we have a mix of more social time and a chance to reach out into the community, most recently an Afternoon tea in November 2023 and preparing to lead a service in the new future.
