Children and Youth

Light Trail – Since we are unable to host our Really Bright Party this year, we have organised a circular ‘Light Trail’. Several houses in streets around St Mark’s Church have designed window displays based around bible verses for you to discover on your own or with members of your household.

These displays will be lit from 4-9pm on Sunday 1st November. The trail is available to all – just order a trail map and stickers using this link here and you will receive everything you need through the post.

See the attached flyer for further details. Please invite those you know to sign up too!

Children’s and Youth Ministry (CYM)

St Mark’s is a family friendly church with over 60 children who enjoy the wide range of activities on offer. During term time, in the 10.30am Sunday service, we have 4 separate age related groups for children from 0-14. During this time, the children enjoy learning about Jesus and growing in their faith through discussion, craft, games and song. During the school holidays we worship all together as church family.

Edge Youth Group (Yr 9-13)

Our group of older youth meet in the church hall lounge on Sunday evenings at 7.15pm – 8.30pm. This is a relaxed group who spend time talking together about their faith and other current issues as well as enjoying games and social activities. Young people do not need to be members of St Mark’s to join this group as all are welcome.
