We are currently running our home groups and prayer meetings over Zoom, so please get in touch if you would like to join!

Home Groups

We have a variety of home groups led by members of our congregation. The groups meet together to discuss matters of life and faith. Each group is different – contact us if you’d like to get involved.

Nurture Groups

A nurture group is a group of 3 or 4 people commit to regularly spending time together exploring what it means to be disciples of Jesus Christ. This may be a group of friends, two couples or two families who choose to meet together. Please click here for suggested nurture group material.

Simply Prayer

We gather together to pray monthly on the second Wednesday at 7:30pm. We’re currently meeting via zoom – contact us for more details.

“Julian” Prayer Meeting

At 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month in the Chapel, we hold silent prayer meetings which last 30 minutes. The intention of this time is to provide a prayerful atmosphere for you to spend time with your Heavenly Father. Silence is essential so please try to arrive promptly. These meetings will resume in October and due to Covid restrictions, places will have to be pre-booked and no refreshments will be served.

Thursday Club

The Thursday Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month in the Church Hall. We run a varied programme of activities for the older generation. All of the activities are geared towards the opportunity to share food, fun and fellowship. Although there are occasional lunches, most events are centred around a traditional afternoon tea, offering freshly prepared rolls, sandwiches and homemade cakes.
New members are very welcome – if interested, please contact Bryan on 07884 062337 or bryan.mallows@ntlworld.com.

Men @ St. Marks

We have a group for the men in our church which meets throughout the year. The meetings are usually social events but there are others where we can explore aspects of the Christian faith as it relates to our everyday life. Details of all our meetings are on our Facebook page. For more information please e-mail menatstmarks@virginmedia.com.
