There’s plenty to get involved with at St Mark’s. Many of our regular events and gatherings are mentioned elsewhere on our website and weekly e-mail. This page highlights additional opportunities.
TKC 13th May – 23rd May 2021
Thy Kingdom Come (TKC) is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. What started in 2016 as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer. Christians from 172 countries have taken part in praying ‘Come Holy Spirit’, so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.
During the 11 days of Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:
- Deepen their own relationship with Jesus Christ
- Pray for 5 friends or family to come to faith in Jesus
- Pray for the empowerment of the Spirit that we would be effective in our witness
Rev Jack Bull’s move
You are invited to a vision evening hosted by Jack & Rich on Tuesday 25th May 7.30pm – 8.30pm at St Mark’s. Jack and Rich would love to share more about their vision for St. Paul’s and how you can stand with them and pray for them. There will be a short time of worship, a presentation, time for questions and time for prayer.
Ministry to children and families and to young people
We are at an exciting moment in time where we are reviewing our ministry to children and families and to young people and we’d love you to be a part of this! This is an opportunity for everyone regardless of whether you are new to St Mark’s or have been around a while or whether you have served/plan to serve on the CYM team or not.
On Monday 24th May, from 7.30pm – 8.30pm we will be gathering physically (if we are able) or virtually to begin this process together. We’d love you to come! Please let us know if you will be attending by completing this short form now and adding the date to your diary. All are welcome as we begin to dream God’s dreams for our children/families and young people!
