Haven’t been to church before, or not for a long time? Don’t panic – we will give you a warm welcome and there’s no compulsion to take part in anything you aren’t comfortable with.
You don’t need to wear anything special – we want you to feel comfortable and relaxed so come in your usual casual clothes and you’ll fit right in! We won’t expect you to make a donation either, because our church members contribute to the ongoing costs of the church.
Each service lasts about an hour (including a 20 minute talk ), and we serve free tea, coffee and biscuits after our 10.30 service.
Getting here
By road, from the end of the Ring Road at Mansfield Road (A60), take Thackeray’s Lane (Vale Hotel junction)
At the roundabout take the 4th exit in to Wensley Road
Continue for about half a mile turning left into De Vere Gardens, the church is located at the end of the cul-de-sac
From Woodborough Road, turn into Somersby Road
Half way down the hill, just before the shops, turn left into Melbury Road
Take the second turn to the right into De Vere Gardens, the church is located at the end of the cul-de-sac.
By bus, take the 56 or 57 (Lime Line) from the City to Nordeen Road.
Walk up Somersby Road a short way into Melbury Road on the right.
